You can continue your training there because of your study. Regarding the internship for a period of 3 to 4 months with CS firm, please discuss this with a CS firm nearer to you as I am not a CS.

Sir,

I am a full time worker for a small IT company where my job is totally irrelevant to C.S field. So, I plan to find a P.C.S and going to work for/under him (like what I am going to do for 15 moths after passing Executive) so that I can easily prepare for my Foundation exam and get real time exposure with that P.C.S and continue earning as well.
Appreciate your opinion. Thanks in advance.

Dear Satish,

You are preparing for CS Foundation Programme for a noble professional course like CS with your full time job.

It is good if you take training with a PCS so that you can get a chance to work in so many fields of CS practice.

Are you doing Graduation after 12th? What is the reason of choosing CS among CA, CMA & CS?

I am 12th qualified and not pursuing any graduation now.I just wanted to do some professional course that ensures solid career in future. As per my friends suggestion, I find C.S more suitable and convenient to me over CA,CMA (may be I intend to do CMA in mean time). Hence, I have opted for C.S course. Besides, the challenges in the C.S job and its role in a company is inspiring me greatly. So, I am really passionate in becoming successful C.S.

Dear Satish,

You can do B. Com with CS from IGNOU after passing CS Foundation Course. You have to appear only a few papers of B. Com.

Please find the link for details.

It is very appreciable that you are really passionate in becoming successful C.S. Why do not you be a CA along with CS?

It may be noted that some students are doing CA + CMA + CS simultaneously because the courses are similar.

Thanks for your valuable suggestion. I actually tried to enroll for B.com with IGNOU this year and I missed the opportunity unfortunately since admission closed. As you suggest, I will start B.com from IGNOU next year. In fact, I plan to do C.M.S very soon that could complement C.S And, I am also willing to do C.A as well. But, in that case I believe that I might not be able to prepare to my best and also I am 25 now. With C.A, it requires another 2 years article ship that is time consumable for me. So, I don't think that I can reconcile C.A with C.S and even if I take C.A probably I could not meet all the three (C.S.,C.M.A,and C.A) requirements. So, as of now I believe I can accomplish C.S & CMA rather than C.A successfully.

Dear Satish,

I do not know about CMS & how it can help you with your CS.

Please take admission in B. Com from IGNOU with a nominal admission fee of around Rs. 4,000/- after registering with CS Foundation.

You have to appear only 4 papers of IGNOU along with CS Foundation & CS Executive papers for getting B. Com Certificate .

You can take admission in CA directly (If you can) after passing CS Executive.

Now, you in CS Foundation stage, the entry stage of CS. There is ample time to take decision for CA & CMA in future. Till then, please go through the course contents of CA & CMA from their official websites for taking your own decesion.
