For sometime past sweeping changes are being witnessed in the legal framework and regulatory environment impacting directly or indirectly industry, trade and commerce, professional bodies, its members/students, various stake holders and the society at large. With a view to harmonize the regulations with the changing dynamics of regulatory environment, the Council of the Institute at its 200th meeting held on 18th March, 2011 has constituted the Regulations Committee comprising of the following Members to examine the provisions of the Company Secretaries Act, 1980, Rules made thereunder by the Central Government, the Company Secretaries Regulations, 1982 and suggest suitable amendments in the same:-
